HERBAL REMEDIES FOR WINTER RESILIENCE
The turn of the seasons bring longer nights, more cool and damp weather, and sniffles and sneezing. Herbal remedies are a safe and powerful way to prevent you from catching colds and flus, and they can also support you if you do fall prey to the germs. We will discuss preventative herbs for immune support and stress adaptation during cold and flu season, herbal remedies for when you feel something coming on or are actively sick, and simple, specific remedies for particular symptoms such as chest and sinus congestion, sore throats, and fevers. You will leave this workshop with knowledge of herbs that can help you this winter season, as well as a few recipes up your sleeve to keep you and your family healthy this winter.

SELF DEFENSE WORKSHOP
SENIOR CITIZEN SELF DEFENSE WITH CHERYL JOYNER
Age and physical limitations do not have to prevent you from learning how to protect yourself. Knowing that you're capable of defending yourself can be a great confidence booster. When you feel (and look) confident, you show the world that you are not weak or vulnerable. That can potentially deter would-be aggressors and keep you from having to defend yourself at all.
Everyone deserves to feel secure. As people age, their bodies tend to get slower and weaker, which can make them vulnerable to attacks by criminals. Fortunately, there are a variety of good tactics that older adults can learn in order to protect themselves. Sign up today to learn for yourself!

JOURNEYDANCE WORKSHOP WITH KELLIE CHAMBERS
I recently returned from a powerful JourneyDance Training and I am excited to share this movement practice with you. What I love about JourneyDance is a more personal exploration and unstructured time to really connect to music and tap into the dancer inside each of us.
We get to tell our story on the dance floor and not worry that anyone is watching. It is dancing with whole heart and deep connection and is accessible to every person regardless of age, or fitness level.
If you love music, want to tap into your heart, and experience a deeper connection to self and to others in community then this workshop is for you. I am preparing a beautiful playlist and experience for you, and I will be honored to share the dance floor. I hope you come join me!

HOLIDAY HERBAL WORKSHOP
EVERYDAY HERBALISM IN THE KITCHEN
Everything we put in our bodies contributes to our overall health, and herbs can be a wonderful way to boost the nutrition of our food, supplement in vitamins and minerals, and even make foods more bioavailable. We will discuss how to use herbs to supplement vitamin C, absorb iron more efficiently, reduce inflammation and add immune boosting flavor to broths and soups. You will leave this workshop with knowledge on how to make and use herbal vinegars, oils, honeys and salts, and how adding these to your dinner table can help make your meals even more nutritious and delicious.
